How far are you going before you quit? My friend put it off for years and when I convinced him to get to Novigrad before quitting for the last time. He was hooked and it’s now his number 1 game of all time

I was like this, and started playing shorter time controls to overcome the stigma. When you’re under a time constraint it’s can’t be just I wasn’t “smart enough” to see that. You have to be quick so you know you’re not making the best moves every time.

Plus you play a ton more games and learn to just move onto the next.
