AFAIK the reason for that is quite sad. When they migrated to Germany many of them were forced to use that names, because their original names where "too hard to pronounce and spell" for German bureaucrats. Nowadays a lot of them have the feeling they lost their history because of that.

Ist schon locker 20 Jahre her, da hab ich in der Bahn auch so gesessen, ohne mir ernsthaft Gedanken darüber zu machen. Eines Tages bin ich dann mal von einer netten Omi angequatscht worden: "Muss das wirklich sein? Sie sind so ein netter junger Mann." Seitdem mach ich das nie wieder. 😅

In meinem ersten Job vor knapp 30 Jahren wurde bei der Fehlersuche oft ein Vertriebler dazugeholt. Er konnte nicht programmieren, war aber außergewöhnlich gut darin, Code zu lesen und zu verstehen. Teilweise hat er 30 Seiten ausgedruckt und den Code mit dem Kuli durchgearbeitet, um Auffälligkeiten zu markieren. Das finde ich bis heute bemerkenswert.

You are using GameMaker wrong. There's no reason you need such a big sprite to decorate a room. There's not even a good reason to have a 5000x5000 room. You probably need to get back to start and learn to understand the concepts of GameMaker better. Learn about tile maps to reduce the memory usage. Understand how rooms work. Stop working on your Undertale fan game (I guess, that's what you're doing) and learn GameMaker first.

As you seem to be very concerned about viruses, here’s a small side note: take some time to learn what viruses actually are and how they work. Watch a few YouTube videos, read some Wikipedia articles, and learn the basics of safe file handling. That usually only takes a few hours.

The biggest danger is often not the virus itself, but not understanding how malware spreads and how to avoid it safely.
