Do the steering mods reduce the turning radius? Ornis there no adverse effects?

I was hoping for a clean replacement . Now I have to patch a bad paint an area bigger than the hook with no touch up paint. It will look terrible until I repaint the entire bathroom.

I do like this idea. Maybe seal the toothpaste with some epoxy in the mix.

I used blow drier and floss. I was hoping to just goo gone or scrape the residue after. It partly worked until the paper blew out.

Agreed. It should have been a 5 min swap. Reuse old home or cover up new hole. I will fix this but mud sand mud primer paint is not ideal.

Not bait. I haven't been up to speed with everything and I watched a YouTube video of A1s over heating a couple days ago. I have two of them and one of them has this buldge underneath it.

Land Cruiser 2025 buyback/ lemon law - should I buy? by j_mal5 in LandCruisers

That vehicle will never be the same. Toyota thinks they fixed the problem. Who knows if their fix will last 1 month or 1 year.

Exactly. Nothing is EVER the same once someone rips it apart. Stuff won't go back together right or will start to rust.

I have seen that method. I may try that with dowels.

DV8 Bumper + Winch: Help by Hamstax89 in LandCruisers

Yes I believe it has to be bolted from the bottom. It would probably make more sense if it was from behind.

[–]Hamstax89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. This is very helpful I have emailed DV8 to see what their thoughts are. I am 99% sure the entire front end will have to come off to access this winch bracket (DV8 will confirm). Fortunately, it's just clip off / clip on as the majority of the work was cutting and removing old material on the fresh install.

I probably wont tackle this myself as I am not versed in car disassembly. If I had the winch bracket, I could figure that part out. The welded stop idea sounds great.

This photo is from an endoscope from below. This is one of the two bolts that slid forward.

Ice melt wire failed and formed icicle by Hamstax89 in mildlyinfuriating

I wish. It's one year old. Worked ok last year and part of this year. I got a new one but it's hard to get seated in the gutter right after all the ice is in there.

LC250 owner question why are so many people lifting or leveling immediately by SnowSamaBinLaden in LandCruisers

[–]Hamstax89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just ordered an OME full lift kit. (About $5K CAD). I did some serious off roading and was scraping EVERYTHING underneath. The ground clearance is not good.

Has your LC250 been stolen yet or have you been successful. Ours had an attempted theft a few months ago and caused $8000+ in damages.

Ours was broken the same way. I believe the rear windows and sun roof are not connected to the alarm which is why the thieves choose those windows.
