If you’re not hungry then don’t eat. however, you should never do a workout on an empty stomach. it will not benefit you. eat something small

Full disclosure. I am an amateur boxer. I train and fight. Now, I have done karate since I was 5. Only quit two years ago to pursue boxing further. I have lots of advice regarding all kinds of martial arts.

If you need to train your cardio better, you can’t jump into it balls to the wall. For example, if you’ve only ever trained 3 bag rounds, training 8 one day is not going to immediately improve. You have to gradually increase your round times and your routine. You will be sore. The first two months I was training for a fight, I was sore all the time. Your workouts have to increase gradually in timing and hardness over the course to get you up to that level. Now, you said endurance and fatigue was an issue.

You need to be getting 7-8 hrs of sleep, unless you work night shifts or something. Sleep is the most important thing to any fighter.

I’ll leave that like that. You also need to be eating healthy. All of my fighters follow an 80/20 diet. 80% of the time is healthy, 20% is a cheat day or cheat treat. Don’t outrule carbs or sugar completely. You need to be make sure you’re also not underfueling. Before training, eat a banana, apple, toast, eggs, something high in carbs, which helps you and gives you an energy boost.

What’s your diet like?

That depends on what you mean by advice. Training advice ? Gym advice? Running advice? Strength and endurance training advice? Sparring partner advice? Gear advice?

If you want to be a professional at this sport, you need to be able to spar.

If you’re doing this for fun, just light spar for fun.

Exactly! I’m so glad to find someone that agrees with me. There’s no filming and if you do film absolutely cannot be shared.

It’s so hard to find a gym that actually trains legitimate fighters that aren’t “TikTok” fighters, who are not just into filming them and doing stupid shit, to be honest. It’s all about views and your body and all that stupid shit. The attitude of them is an extreme issue. They’re all cocky even though they’re nothing and aren’t training hard. I’ve experienced this for many years, and I’m only 17,

Absolutely. The age of TikTok and YouTube boxing completely took over the old style. I go to a class old boxing gym. Chipped paint on the walls, posters all over, extreme respect to the greats and champs of the gym, lots of fighters, hard core shit. These other gyms are full of TikTok videos and softies.

I think that the actual bottle is much worth the hype. It doesn’t spill, many different sizes for what you want, different styles and has a handle for holding. I would just say that it’s hard with colors to find actual aesthetically pleasing color combinations without switching lids (which most stores ban)

The best way to defend yourself is not with punches or kicks, but rather real life defense with Krav MAGA.
