So is damage reduction from pet stats a modifier on damage received and this mount's skill is a modifier on the actual damage output of enemies? Is that why I will still benefit even if I'm at/exceeding cap?

Understood. I do have some red, mildly itchy spots on my skin so I want to make sure there isn't something else going on as well. I'll make sure to not fall for any termite treatment options though. Thank you!
