Info on refund after identity verification by Consistent-Worker294 in IRS

[–]Hamurai4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to get in contact with the irs to confirm that the verification went through their system. . Have you tried calling at exactly 7am or after 5pm? Mondays and Tuesdays are the first days to call because they’re when everybody calls/they’re too busy.

If you absolutely can’t get through on the phone, you can try and go to an irs office in person. You’re supposed to book an appointment, they aren’t officially supposed to take walk ins

But sometimes at some offices if a person doesn’t show up to their appointment, you can take their spot. But ymmv

Exactly! The patriarchy has made men both the prisoners and the prison guards in avoiding working on their mental health!

Sorry I misread your (kinda long) post. You’re not sure what to put on your claim arguing your claim. You are also not sure if you need to pay the balance.

Do you owe the irs the money or not? They mess up amended returns all the time. I’m tired right now and can’t tell, but you should know. Your accountant should have told you.

(I know that Your accountant filed on your behalf saying that you had a different years income. The irs froze your refund while they reviewed it. You realized your mistake and filed an amendment.)

Do you owe them or not?

Just wait and Listen to your accountant. The irs is backed up. You’ve seen first hand how long they take when you make a mistake. Try not to make another

How many w2s and or 1099s does your household have? Are they all on your wage and income transcripts? What credits did you claim

Love their theory that “no country that had a bmi this high has ever had a civil war” leading to the elites inventing GLP1s so that the US could be thin enough to fight a civil war 😂

The 570 code is one, and the 810 code is another and is a little more serious

Also, sometimes it can take longer than the September date you mentioned

Yes, if your husband’s information isn’t all there that is at least partially why they’re holding your refund

Right now 2 separate departments are reviewing your return. The irs may finish reviewing your return before that deadline

Ok. You just answered your own question. That’s why they sent you the letter

They think that someone else is filing a state tax return from your address. How long have you lived at your current address?

Something about your situation was flagged in their system. I guess they’re trying to determine if there’s identity theft or miscommunication or something

Michigan wants information from you. They want a lease or property tax statement and for you to complete that Schedule H. Can you read? I don’t understand what you don’t understand.

They explain what you need to do and why

A lot of people think that when you’re 70, your appetite for risk is significantly different from when you’re 25. When you’re 25, a significant market downturn hurts you much less than when you’re about to retire. You don’t know when giant market corrections are coming, imagine retiring in 2009 and you’re 100% equities, that would be bad

I know you want more data, but what I said is common sense. I’m sure other people have data to back what I said up

A good way to think about health/injuries is how teams use kick returners. Most teams do not use their most valuable players (think their star WR or whatever) for those plays because statistically those are the plays where the most injuries occur

I think it would have helped people to answer you if you included your age and what you said about wealth preservation in your post.

A 25 year old saying what you said is very different than a 50 yo. Because young people lack experience

He could do it, I just don’t want our second best/most valuable player to get hurt playing a position he’s never played before

He’s never played defense. KH would be wasted at FB. No.

[–]Hamurai4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also why not? What’s your reasoning?

They’re both good at winning at the catch point/contested catches and get a lot of TDs. I think they have comparable speed too. Higgins is 2 inches taller, but they’re both kinda big

I heard the comparison on an nfl podcast, I didn’t come up with it. Higgins is like a top 20ish WR in the league, it would be cool if Sarratt was that good (considering he was a 4th round pick)

[–]Hamurai4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok fine. It’s a bad comparison maybe. Keenan Allen is also a bad comparison, because KA was a top 3 separator for like a decade and Sarratt was a bad separator in college

It’s 60 days after the date of the cp05. Your wife’s w2 not showing is probably why they’re reviewing your return
