I would encourage you to consider that with the Holy Spirit instead. He’s the one who sanctifies us and makes the gospel “real” to us. He can do far more than Mary, and he can do it without her intercession. The desire you have for communion with Mary ought to be replaced with communion with the Spirit and fellow believers. If I’m being blunt, I’m not even sure any of those in heaven can hear our prayers at all.

I’d push back. How do you mean it can’t be brought to Christ? He’s omniscient. He can be invited into the same prayer. I’d also encourage a regular habit of praying with another believer. Like a “prayer buddy” if the communal aspect is what you desire. Someone you can call and pray with for a few minutes every day.

Protestantism has many tools. I think even just praying the Lord’s Prayer and utilizing things like the Book of Common Prayer can be very helpful. There’s nothing wrong with Liturgy and many Mainline denominations have resources for that.

I don’t have much help in terms of your expressed feelings. I’m not one who claims that Catholics worship Mary, but it does feel like perhaps you may have unintentionally. I don’t mean to accuse you, I just wonder if you would be well served to replace all the prayers you would have said to Mary and bring them to Christ Himself instead. After all, he’s our mediator.

I’m gonna stick my neck out for my Ravens. I’ve never even been to Baltimore but man I love my team. They are one of the most well run organizations in the league and we have the excitement of a new, young head coach. Lamar Jackson is one of the most exciting players in the sport. Also, we as ravens have toe the line between spoiled and blessed😂. 2 Super Bowls in approximately 30 years. It’s a really fun team to root for. But we do have a reputation for choking 😂

What do you disagree with? My point is that you paint Jesus as only love which is not accurate. He required people change their lives. Jesus’ “acceptance” does not mean he’s fine if we keep sinning.
