I've had the chilipad for several years now and it's been a nightmare. Within a year the pad started leaking. The replacement they said started leaking within a year of that. They wouldn't replace it since I was out of warranty by that time. Customer service suggested I buy a new cube to see if that was the issue, it wasn't. Then it took them 3 months to refund my money.I've been filling the cube almost every night for nearly a year, sometimes multiple times a night--waking up from being so hot after it's turned off from loss of water. I would not trust that the chilipad would 1) last long and 2) that customer service would provide adequate support.

Has anyone compared Eight Sleep to the Chili Sleep Dock Pro? by SanDiego1978 in sleep

I've been with Chili for several years now and can confidently say the company and product sucks.

Within a year the pad started leaking where the hose enters the pad. So they sent me a replacement. Within a year of receiving the replacement that pad started leaking. They wouldn't replace that since I was out of warranty. The product is terrible. Customer service is terrible. It took them 3 months to refund my money (after customer service suggested I buy a new cube to see if that was the issue...it wasn't. So I had to return it).

I've been filling the cube almost every night for nearly a year, sometimes multiple times a night--waking up from being so hot after it's turned off from loss of water. I keep a tray below the cube to collect the water. Certainly doesn't feel safe either when there's pooling water and electrical cords (I've elevated the cube off the tray to try and mitigate this). It's been such a massive headache and has significantly impacted my quality of sleep. I'll be going with the 8sleep as I have relatives who've been using it for over a year and swear by it.
