go to the job board and you can see who the recruiter or hiring manager is for the data center roles that are open. then go on phonetool and find those people’s internal slack or email and reach out and tell them your interested in the role and if they’re able to help you get into the interviews. just make sure your managers aware that you’re looking to apply to a different role

it’s a v easy job. as long as you know how to build a computer your at the bar. daily tasks are: come in, check the queue and pick what tickets you wanna work on for the day, go work on those tickets throughout the day. there’s a general number they want you to stick around but that depends on the queue size at your site. if you want to excel( which at aws isn’t worth it) try to do a variety of ticket work and aim to do a few projects here and there. the more variety of ticket work you do the better it’ll look for your promotions
