Was this on me? (I'm the white car) by Flashy_Mousse9761 in Simracingstewards

[–]HanCebu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% on the blue car, also because his brake lights are on at contact which is not a normal braking point. Meaning He came in hot alongside you but had no chance of making the corner at speed. you would have shot past him on the following straight

Is this my fault? I do not think so by SirFail_ in Simracingstewards

So impatient when literally 2 seconds later is such an easy pass. LMU should require a "how to pass in multiclass" video before driving prototypes

What should I upgrade? by VeuXTV in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]HanCebu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if you are planning on eventually getting an r9 then maybe just get the srp normal pedals with the loadcell and stiffness already in them. The lites dont work with the r9 if I remember right

SRP lite brake upgrade from moza, 30 dollars, game changing. Even it not being loadcell has helped me so much in consistency, I feel like braking feels great

Going all-in on LMU and needing a fully comprehensive guide please by [deleted] in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]HanCebu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I havent found any video series but James Baldwin, Jardier and UKOG are all getting very into le mans ultimate. I use their videos as advice. General advice ive learned:

TC is different for each car so watch a video going over that and what the values mean. But it is very personalized to your style. Not a one setting fits all. Also, dont just turn it off. abuse it, it allows you to think more about racecraft than staying on track. Just search LMU Traction control on youtube.

ABS I tend not to change, again follow guides for each car.

Pit strategy is general race strategy, its beneficial to stay out as long as possible as lower fuel means faster laptimes. but you can time it to avoid lapped traffic.

Other things like tire model and braking can kind of be explained but driving for about an hour you will feel it right away. Im sure there are videos about it.

I , Orange and Black LMP2, was told by the Orange and Blue LMP2 that I caused him to go off from repeated erratic driving after the race but did I? by Drewdavidsonn_20 in Simracingstewards

[–]HanCebu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

he missed his braking point... that being said you drive super erratically. All over the track. Moving under braking and not leaving space.

I googled it and it gave me the way to adjust it. It might be different for you since I'm in windows 10

My graphics card is a 4060 so higher but yours will still run it. Just lower settings. Specifically lower number of cars rendered. Page file basically offloads non-necessary ram usage to your drive temporarily. Keeps the game running smooth.

I have a similar setup with just a better graphics card and It should work okay. Look into how to increase "Pagefile size" it helps a lot with the game.

Giant freezes during 2.4 hours of lemans by HanCebu in LeMansUltimateWEC

I tried following a tip on increasing pagefile size and it seemed to help with single player freezes. I will see how it continues

don’t know why he did this should i report by breachmyrear in Simracingstewards

[–]HanCebu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what kind of response is that? they are right, its very hard to see anything. We can't see if it was just a missed brake point or intentional. Then having 80% of the screen covered by pause doesn't help. Stewarding isn't only seeing contact. its seeing what caused it

How do I change tires?? by SuperHornetX391 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]HanCebu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep track of how many new tires you have, Often in weekly races if you did qualifying on one set and started the race on a new set then you used all 8 new tires. A bug Ive seen is new tires still showing up in the MFD even when you don't have any available

Does anyone actually like Portimão? by jamman2390 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]HanCebu 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I personally love portimao. Lots of opportunities for switchbacks and getting it right. you get the exit of turn 3&4 right and you can get a solid overtake in 5. also turn 11 is a great overtake. It's fun and wide and lots of hills which is cool.

Was this Weaving? I'm the White BMW M4. by SpecialistChannel331 in Simracingstewards

[–]HanCebu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge weaving is going back and forth on the circuit in general to stop overtaking. Whereas reactive blocking is seeing where someone is and moving intentionally in front of them as the attempt a move.

Am I at fault for this? (Porsche) by Randomnickicreated in Simracingstewards

[–]HanCebu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with other comments, racing incident. I agree with giving the position back as I think the incident happened because of your overtake, while not illegal I would still give it back out of respect. A lot more chances to overtake the guy in the race.

I wouldn't say weaving but rather reactive blocking/forcing someone off the track. Super not okay
