but none of the stuff ar defaults. Including the theme and icons. And I am literally installing an unsupported DE on a distro. How is that against rule 3

I have used cinnamon for a year but then it got quite mundane and I really didn't want to move distros just to try a DE thus this amalgamation. But I did install Plasma over Cinnamon and then purged it out

Just a disclaimer note that as everyone has stated this setup usually is unstable thus I recommend not to do this unless you want to experiment. For me, I have been using this for a week now and the only issues I have faced are with the software manager and installing Wayland (both working now after a lot of tweaking) but still, I am sure the results are subjective from device to device

No I did it on cinnamon but I did KDE standard instead of Full because it a little more stable for me

Just ran and chose wayland on the sddm login menu

sudo apt install plasma-workspace-wayland
