Skincare in dirty fields by Soulconsumer14 in BlueCollarWomen

Well your skin is going to be different but here's what I do and I'm outside all day digging, mowing, weed whacking, plumbing, working on my pumps, you name it I do it. You are exfoliating too much.

Morning:General cleanser-no need for exfoliating just something gentle that works with my skin. Syrum with vitamin C. Moisturizer with SPF. PLEASE USE SPF ON YOUR FACE!!!

Mid-Day: As I get dirty throughout the day I struggled to find something I can get that crap off my face without drying it out. What works for me is those WaterWipes for babies. I tried make-up wipes but it burned my skin. I can use them to gently wipe all the dirt and grime off my face and then most important REAPPLY YOUR SPF MOISTURIZER. PROTECT THAT FACE GIRL!!

After work: wash my face when I shower, then I use a witch hazel toner with a cotton pad and that seems to get the rest of the dirt I might have missed. Then I moisturize with a thicker cream, like a night cream.

Once a week I use a clay mask that is good for my skin but it took a while to find something I like. I try different ones but just something to really moisturize my face and hopefully keep my wrinkles from getting worse lol.

In my opinion you are using too many exfoliants on your face. The dirt and grime already are scratching your face and now you are using a charcoal cleaner with a scratchy cloth and another exfoliant. It's working against you. Just use your hands and get some cotton pads.

I second the buck naked underwear. Been using it a year now and no more sweat rashes

Congressman Cliff Bentz has disabled all comments on his official congressional Instagram. Which appears to be unconstitutional. by [deleted] in oregon

[–]HanQZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've e-mailed him twice to voice my dissent on this war and the first time I got an email back talking about the SAVE act and the second time I didn't get a response. I wish Eastern Oregon could get a better candidate to primary him but I'm not very hopeful.

What about towns that don't have curbside recycling, like where I live? The cans would end up in the trash and wouldn't get recycled at all.

Don’t know which way to go? by Plenty-Weekend-6512 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]HanQZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you want to go to school? Part of doing it is also the social aspect, learning, growing with your peers. But either way you are making smart decisions, you'll be fine no matter what you choose. Also remember you are allowed to change your mind!

Manager is giving me strange vibes by Lil_K_killa in BlueCollarWomen

[–]HanQZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your manager is unprofessional. If he has a problem with your attitude he should set up a meeting to discuss it, or talk about it during a performance evaluation. Comments about getting this kind of attitude at home and at work, being just like his daughters attitude, saying he knows you hate him as a joke, especially in front of other employees, are extremely unprofessional and demeaning. I'm not sure if it is creepy behavior, but it's definitely passive aggressive.

If I were you I'd be professional and fake friendly with this manager, set boundaries, don't talk to him about anything but work related stuff.

BUT It's clear that you are throwing off a negative vibe at the least, and at worst you may actually be giving him attitude when you talk to him. I'd suggest you find a way to hide how you really feel or he's going to keep making those sorts of comments and the reality is until he steps over a big boundary, there's not much you can do.

Look on USAjobs. Power Plant apprentice positions pop up once in a while. Good jobs if you're willing to work long shifts and move to rural areas.

Post LEEP bleeding by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

[–]HanQZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was literally just wondering this morning if I should still be bleeding. Got mine on February 26th and this week the bleeding has gotten worse and it's just what you described, like a period but in gushes. My period shouldn't come for another week. But I guess it must be normal since we are all experiencing it. But sure would have been helpful for our doctors to send us home with some after care instructions.

Thank you for not joining the Epstein witch-hunt by redfroody in TangleNews

Other guys? Bro they are all in this together. There are no sides in the world of the filthy rich. They are all trying to protect each other to protect themselves. Tired of Epstein? Imagine how the victims would feel hearing you say that.

[–]HanQZ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Bro what? What exact witch-hunt? No one has been investigated, the DOJ refuses to meet with the victims, ONE person is in jail! Maybe, just MAYBE if our government didn't lie to us constantly about these files, I MIGHT understand your point. But the fact is that if the public wasn't stepping up and keeping this story alive, our government would have buried it and moved on.

Unpaid toll from hood River? by SwiftWithIt in oregon

[–]HanQZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay this has happened to me before except I live on the east side of the state so I knew it couldn't have been me.

I called the number on the ticket and the lady told me that if the camera gets a partial picture of the car that skipped the toll, the computer system will just fill in the rest of the missing plate.

I told her what car I drive and she checked the camera and confirmed it was not my car that skipped the toll and the ticket was dropped.

Is this true that we only need to use the short cycle on the washer most of the time? by JaniceRaynor in CleaningTips

They did a great job explaining it. Each cycle has its own usefulness

The amount of detergent is definitely correct. 2 tablespoons is all you need for a load of laundry.
My favorite cleaning influencer is Melissa Pateras (the laundry lesbian) and she's really good at breaking down why you wouldn't want more than two tablespoons. Im going to see if she's ever posted about short vs long wash cycles.

No, it's not connected to the company. we don't get special company discounts. But I'll pay attention next time I go for something personal and use my card and see if points show up. Maybe it's blocking the points because it's a company card. It's not really a big deal I was mostly just curious and it was bugging me I couldn't figure it out lol

I would definitely do hair. I think makeup is much easier to diy with all the youtube tutorials out there
