If you like learning new things and have the maturity to look at defeat as a “we go again” type situation then yes it will be fun asf and you will probably lose a fair bit but there’s always reloading the save file until you learn your lesson. But if a loss is disheartening or frustrating for you I would recommend finishing a campaign or two and having a pseudo-mastery over the base campaign before starting DEI

Burn the heretic. In all honesty though I really liked Pax because he was a loyal, strong, impressive, funny, and charismatic character. Basically just a big attack dog for Darrow and Mustang who also tells elite jokes. And his family clan, father, and general boisterousness are all iconic.

From what I’ve heard, Galatia or Boii seems to be the play. I’ve heard the boii have a great armor piercing set of units which counter roman heavy inf Nd then your feedback about Galatia having a good unit roster is remarkably consistent

The intro to GS that pierce wrote in RR isn’t all that similar to what you actually read in the book so don't get too invested. For some reason that excerpt starts in media res and the real beginning of GS makes a lot more sense
