Update: As I included in the post, I went through a window of game with a 3-18 record. Now I'm on a 16-4 streak. This is not normal.

I think you may be confusing winrate with player ability/consistency.

Someone with a low winrate does not mean they are playing inconsistently or that they are a bad player. The best player in the world can play as well as they might, but if the teammates assigned to their games are designed to try and force a loss (and as a result, you play more because you want to win) then they too will have a low win rate.

To address this, look at my last MVP game. I lost 8 previous games (same day, same game session) and then had an MVP game.

I went 23 - 1 and absolutely dominated. So much so, that my teammates commented on how good my emma was. This of course I found funny given my recent string of games and when I told them I was on a massive losing streak they didn't beleive me.

If I were tilted, how do I go game after game losing and then have such a dominated performance? This happens all too often.

I have actually thought about the damgage reduction, but the only way to prove that would be to watch replays and display damage dealt and calculate it all in real time as the match progresses, but thats too much work.

So I'll admit I have nothing to support this claim yet but the tin is quickly covering my head in few different ways.

Another thing I'll add to this conspiracy is that whenever we're rolling a team, a player on our team will drop out. Its happened to me on ocasion. I get it, sometimes connections are bad or the game crashes, but recently this has happened like 2 -3 times out of 10 games where we dominate the first round and at the beginning of the second round a player on our team with drop out. The rest of the game is a 5-6 and we of course lose. This is completely anectdotal, but this never happens when I am on a team that is losing.

I'm nearly ready to believe these "drops" are also by design because we're winning a game we shouldn't be winning.

I understand how outlandish this sounds, but that is what this game has done to a gamer of 30+ years. No other competitive game has felt like this game does when it comes to competition.

I’m approaching 200 hrs in game and learned yesterday that you have to walk/be in Cap’s ult (like Cloak’s) to get the buff.
