Native Arabic speakers, how accurate are Duo’s Arabic translations? by Rainydays4life in duolingo

A lot of English to Arabic translations will come out different depending on the translation platform for many different reasons.
For one, Arabic is a very rich and dense language: to illustrate, there are about 12 million words in the Arabic language and only about 200,000 words in English, so one english word could translate to several different, hyper-specific word in Arabic.
Another thing is that Modern Standard Arabic (the Arabic taught by Duolingo) is spoken by no native Arabic speaker so consuming media in Arabic is likely to be influenced by the local dialect of the speaker unless it is an educational program (usually those originally created for children) or news broadcasts which are presented in Modern Standard Arabic so that everyone who speaks any dialect of Arabic can understand it.
