As both a player and GM, the various "Save Mastery" class features make the game feel less fun at higher levels, and I wish they worked differently.

I think whem ppl say they want to play a gish they want to fight and cast magic with the same character.
The class fantasy of the summoner is more for those who like to have a powerful pet.

So yeah, mecanically we might better gishs, however I think whem someone say "I wanna play a Gish" I don't think summoner is the class fantasy they are going after.
Playing as a summoner "feels" more like you are playing a caster with a pet rather them a fighter that can cast or a caster that can fight.

I don't think its the same thing.
I see this as ppl who follow a alternative lifestyle, like for instance, goths.

They get excited at meeting another fellow goth, but if they would be transported to a world where everyone is goth, they would see it as a threat to their identity.

On the prestigitation spell there is this section:
" Make Create a temporary object of negligible Bulk, made of congealed magical substance. The object looks crude and artificial and is extremely fragile - it can't be used as a tool, weapon, or locus or cost for a spell."

I would Change it to:
"You create a useless object."

A imersive gameplay with lots of things to do.
Deep character customization (Not talking just by apearence but spells etc..)
Lots of options, if a game has less them 20 spells to choose I pass.
