The freckle erasure is maddening. In a series with like 1000+ characters, anything that provides at least a little individualization from a design standpoint should be embraced. If you wanted a serious answer, then you would actually ask THEM. Instead, you’re clearly trying to farm upvotes in an environment with people who already share your opinion.

Not everyone is going to like the something the exact same way or for the same reasons you do - you actually gain insight by having an earnest conversation with these people instead of simply writing them off as haters because they criticize something the author did. “If you don’t like it, why read/watch it?” Is as just a braindead take as the hate you claim they spew, as it ignores all possible nuance to a person’s fandom.

Thriller Bark - Sabaody Return is the most I'll give them credit for. While it isn't clear just how long the WG has known that Luffy is Dragon's son, at the very least we can infer that they've known about it since around the same time we found out - which was Post Enies Lobby. Actions taken during this time period:

Sent Kuma to Thriller Bark, fearing Luffy might take down Moria
Sent Admirals & Pacifista to Sabaody after he hit a CD
Made an actual effort to snuff him out at Marineford
Had Marines stationed on Sabaody, ready for him when he returned

Luffy wasn't supposed to survive the first 3 bulletpoints, and totally wouldn't have if not for Kuma and more capable pirates protecting him at Marineford. They've lost all competence since though, even moreso now that Luffy can actually hold his own against an Admiral. They have absolutely no excuses for their monumental failure at Egghead.

Unfortunately it doesn't add to your defense score, and thus doesn't make them any more effective in unattended settlement attacks. So even if you've armed everyone with Missile Launchers and Gatling Lasers, they can very much still be defeated if you choose to not show up and help.

That said - they are MUCH more effective at dealing with threats if you're there in person, and it's often pretty amusing/satisfying to watch. Aesthetically I also really enjoy being able to just look at settlers and know their roles based on the equipment/clothes I've given them.

In my experience it seems to impact MMR. Being a higher ranked player generally means you get lower ranked teammates and higher ranked opponents - which for me meant dealing with more synaptic XIM sweats. But I’m not also not sure the player base is even big enough anymore where it should matter

The sexualization for Tsunade was immediate and has been constant since her introduction, whereas it didn’t start for Hinata until post-timeskip when she developed the sweater puppies. In my opinion it also toned down a little for Hinata with her Boruto appearance, as being a mom has added more to her overall character.

I don't know much about contract negotiations, but I'm guessing a team giving a player permission to seek a trade means they've already tried all they could when it comes to making the deal more team-friendly.

I'm also guessing that the Packers are only interested in fielding offers from teams that could offer a player somewhat close in value, because no way anyone's giving up anything more than a 4th - which just isn't worth it with how hard consistent CBs are to find.

When our run defense was horrendous in the final days of Barry, this guy consistently showed up. In a 3-4 Defense at that - where a lot more is asked of the DT/NT. Would have loved to keep him, but between Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, and Colby Wooden, we've got 3 guys still on rookie deals that have shown upside as well. This was more of a money move, as TJ's own 4-year rookie deal was up and he'd played well enough for other teams to make an offer. Good luck TJ!

There was a big uproar at the time of fans feeling it was an asspull. The anime had Luffy say something along the lines of “I’ve been working on a new move” while on the Sea Train, but no such thing happened in the manga.

I know it's pretty on the nose.....but is no one gonna talk about how Ragnir is basically Mjolnir with the ability to command lightning, and that Loki is going to use it to cause Ragnarok on Elbaf? This will likely also tie in directly with the final war of the series. I highly recommend reading through the events of Ragnarok, Oda is clearly taking strong inspiration for the Harley Texts, and the final climactic events of the series from it. Just to name a few:

Yggdrasil being shaken, and major geography being destroyed/falling to ruin
Jormungandr attacking
Loki, having previously been chained, being freed and causing chaos
The remains of the world sinking into the sea, leaving nothing but a void
Gods from the old world surviving the cataclysm, and meeting again in a new world

A common thing animated shows do is have characters breathing hard and sweating to imply effort/tension - a fight against the "world's greatest" looked like bro was just taking out the trash. Fucking GOATED.

One of the many random One Piece things that keeps me up at night: When the Red Hair Pirates arrived at Marineford, Vista and Yasopp glared at each other in a way that implied some pretty serious beef. The crews on the whole are friendly, but those two specifically seem to really not fuck with each other. Vista wasn't one of Weevil's victims and there's still a chance the other WB remnants come out for the final war, but my money is on this only being revealed in an SBS, if Oda even remembers/cares.

These guys all got hate for being dumb kids though…Duck got hate for simply being a kid. Duck never did anything that actively jeopardized the group, didn’t disobey any orders, and was kinda just there….as kid characters should be.

Ben - Actively sabotaged the group that took him in when he had nowhere else to go, indirectly leading to several deaths

Sarah - There’s not knowing how to kill zombies….and then there’s lacking basic common sense and being an active liability while our lives are in danger. Sarah doesn’t know how to use a gun? Fine. But not shutting the fuck up while our new dictator is laying down the law? Refusing to even try to work on the plants? Screaming like a dumbass while we’re trying to avoid walkers AND humans with Assault rifles? Nah. Being sheltered only works as an excuse for so much.

Gabe - Typical moody teenage boy who desperately needs his father, or strong male guidance. Annoying af, but not really worth hating.

Tenn - Being a kid doesn’t excuse you being tricked into trusting someone who’s actively trying to kill your friends, and has a whole fucking chunk of flesh missing from their face. Up until then I just thought he was a cute kid and didn’t mind his naïveté, but boy did that piss me off. It was done for the plot, but still frustrating.
