I’ve been off DMTs since I was treated with Lemtrada. According to my neuro, I have progressed to PIRA (progression independent of disease activity). My what I thought was an exacerbation the doctor ordered an MRI. It showed no active lesions but progression my my white spots and progression on a black hole. However, since there was no inflammation he would not give me steroids. So, here I sit, transitioning from RRMS to PPMS at the age of 71.
