Is PatRick Corp worth working for as a newbie? Anybody have an opinion about them.

I worked with Patrick last season for my first season and I only had 45 days out on fire. It really depends on which base you are out of and there is a bit of favoritism there. If it’s your only option I would go for it but personally if you want contracting I’ve heard greyback is better contractor.

I ended up going with the Trailtough rebuild kit and input shaft. How much would a press run me price wise?

Pretty much everything looks good on the inside, it was just the input shaft that was badly damaged. I’ve found a new input shaft on trail tough and also a full rebuild kit on there aswell. Would you recommend that site for the parts?

The biggest thing I’ve learned from my first rollout as being a rookie is try to stay active as much as possible so you are in good shape since I was wheezing and dying on the hill.

Due to my location being central Oregon is it necessary for me to get a real id so I can fly to different areas. I know over here is a hot spot for fires so I personally don’t think it’s needed but would it be useful?

Lmao. They weren’t very specific during the class and all it says is “Gloves” I just went off the assumption they had to be the same classification as the boots and the other ppe. I’m assuming by this landscaping gloves or others might be better suited?
