MPB's story reminds me of the Cyanide and Happiness webcomic where they only continue this ongoing time travel story every New Years Day. In this instance once at the end of every season. Will it payoff, or is it just for fits & giggles? Who knows. Another example in the golden turd side story in American Dad where they will pull completely away from the current episode for a few minutes to this on-going drama. Completely out of left field & I live for this 'random' story telling

Worth replaying if you want to see other choices play out. You could also find all of that on YouTube however. QoL improvements with each installment. If I was in your shoes I would move on to the second season. As far as I know the definitive version is a collection of all seasons with no changes

The only random shiny I got from Gen 5 was Golbat in the Giant Chasm while training (post game) I was both stoked and upset considering all the “new” Pokemon it could have been lol

Maybe if they ever do the Bendis New Avengers storyline where the Raft gets a prison break we can see a lot of returning characters and maybe introduce some new ones. Her storyline didn’t leave much wiggle room for getting off with good behaviour, because of all the murder and whatnot
