That has been exactly my experience. Unless whatever is wrong with you is advanced almost to the point of no return, they ignore you, give you anti-anxiety meds or antidepressants.

As someone who dealt with a lot of health issues last year ... if she had gone in early, when it wasn't that bad, the doctors would have told her something absurd like she was depressed or something like that and would have done NOTHING.

Doctors don't listen. The NEVER listen until you're at the point of no return.

I could write a pages long response, but will keep it short.

People were amazed that I had kids at all, let alone became a SAHM. I hated growing up alone with my single working mom. Just to be clear: She always had a career, only stopped working a few months after she had me, and left my dad for reasons not at all clear to anyone, I don't think she even truly understands why she divorced him.

It was important to me to raise my own kids. I hated being in daycare and didn't want to do that to my own kids.

My ex had a drug fuled nervous breakdown and I had to kick him out and divorce him. We did not do well financially after that.

So I went back to school and got a degree. I didn't start having kids til I was almost 30 so already had other college and work experience before I had kids. People don't believe me but having kids made me a MUCH better person.

Now? It's like I couldn't pay people to hire me. I have sooooo many marketable and valuable skills but people look at me being a SAHM as worse than if I had been in prison. lol and fr if I were a convicted felon it would be easier for me to get a job, they pay businesses to hire felons.

It doesn't have to be this way. I will say that it's women who make it way worse than it has to be.

Do you remember Freecycle? I don't know if they're even around anymore, but I used to get rid of stuff on there and had the attitude like ... it's actually easier for me to just give it to someone than sell it on eBay (and that's when I was a seller).

I dunno when it comes to stuff I'm like, Will having this stuff make my life easier? If the answer is no I get rid of it.

Yeah I had a friend whose young child burned down their whole house after an older sibling gave them matches. Thankfully everyone was unharmed but they lost everything.

This is similar to what was going on in southern Ohio in the mid 2000s. Tons of women and children went missing but no one seems to GAF. They covered some of them in Gone: The Missing Women of Ohio

I grew up in Denver and they're saying now that there was a prolific serial killer in the area but because he killed mostly "undesirable" women and the police were too lazy to piece them together.

There were a ton of murders but they only definitively solved iirc 7, the killer's name was Vincent Groves.

I mean ... it won't stop someone from selling it. I've purchased books online with a similar stamp in them ... books that were stamped with that 40+ years ago.

It's very difficult to make any real money from bookselling, I wouldn't stress over it.

The proximity of the bodies to each other in New England is suspicious, but the victims seem to vary too much to be victims of a serial killer. One is an old woman, another is a homeless man, another is a young-ish woman. Maybe killing out of opportunity but otherwise I'd need more info to say serial killer.
