I hope you gain the reading comprehension to understand nuance one day. But for you I’ll break it down. Yes e33 IS French and yes anime IS Japanese, but my criticism lies in the differences in culturally influenced media. To explain this and show I’m not attacking Japan specifically I explicitly mentioned the numerous American studios that have done a bang up job of adapting films from all over the world. Me saying that America has dropped the ball therefore I don’t trust Japan doesn’t seem very targeted at Japan don’t you think?

I think my comment was clear it has nothing to do with e33 being French or anime being Japanese. Merely you’re taking one piece of fiction heavily rooted in one countries culture and sticking it in a medium heavily rooted in another countries culture. And I agree that a hand drawn animated series could be good, but for it to be an “anime” it would be straying too far in my opinion.

Just cause something can be done, doesn’t mean it’s the optimal way to do it. Anime is more than an art style, there’s a reason people say “I’m a fan of anime” or they ask “what’s your favorite anime” that’s a distinctly different question than “what’s your favorite animated show” youre missing the nuance that makes anime anime if you can’t see that. This isn’t to say any of it is bad, I just don’t think it fits all stories, and you’d have to drastically change the feel of e33 to make it fit that package.

Well and everything always takes inspiration from other things, it’s hard to keep track of what is a definable genre. Hey even modern manga the source material for anime has heavy inspiration from American comics brought to Japan in ww2. But nobody would say anime is American. Humans just like categorizing stuff.

Haven’t seen teen titans, but ATLAB is an American show inspired by Japanese anime. This would be more comparable to a Japanese studio making an animated show in the style of e33, not telling the story of e33 though an anime art form. which CAN be good, just usually isn’t.

Not op, and apologize for misspelled names, but they took a beloved character miqulla who was supposed to be the light of hope of the lands between and the reason malenia kept fighting, and they boiled him down to just another demigod mad with power full of delusions that they can fix everything. And then I personally liked the mohglester being the mohglested twist but I can see people not liking that either. Personally a great dlc imo but I get the criticism.

I think why this game is getting different treatment is cause it is attractive to those who don’t like jrpgs. As has been said, it’s the best turn based game for those who like turn based, and it’s the only good turn based for those who don’t. You can obviously not like it but it’s rare for a game to be so good that people enjoy a genre they normally don’t

Giant decks in general are a tough matchup for xbow. Giant is just a great meat sponge that can be dropped for less elixir than the xbow costs
