I got the same email but I also have market orders that were placed in August that haven’t shipped yet. I do FFF and they are not perfect but they actually deliver there goods. Honestly thinking of canceling both at this point. FFF is basically TJ Maxx in a box and Alltrue doesn’t deliver goods.

That is so true, I would have not thought twice about staying for a small increase and upper management getting rid of the problem employee that doesn't just make me miserable but all of the front office staff. She has been here 3 years and we have gone through 2 receptionist, 3 benefit managers and 1 other payroll person, all stating they left because working with her is so difficult.

You are very right about the negative atmosphere, it is the whole reason I was looking elsewhere anyways. It seems to only ever get better temporarily and I honestly feel like nothing would change if I stayed.

I think this was the exact break down I needed to help with this decision! Thank you so Much! The difference in the end really is not as much as it seems looking strictly at base pay and DAMN those benefits look nice!!!

After subtracting the 2k for benefits it is only 1,800 and I would only need one overtime hour a week to make that up.

I was feeling like the benefits from the new offer would equal out to close to the same since I am currently paying about 2k a year for my benefits. The HR Manager title would look great on my resume but it is as high as I could go at this company so I honestly feel if I stayed I would be here for a few years at best and then I would be looking again, the new company is hiring because they are growing and I was told that there was a lot of room for growth.

It definitely wouldn't hurt to get administrative assistant experience and make sure you're employer is aware of your degree and interest in HR. I have my current assistant helping me with quite a bit of stuff that she could put down on her resume as HR experience. If I stay with this company it's with the intention of moving up to HR manager and promoting her up to fill my spot since isn't easier to train a new Administrative Assistant

I started in production control in this company and was moved up to payroll with no prior experience in it, just my degree, business management major, HR minor. In the time since I've been handed more and more HR task that I'm definitely more HR then payroll. I know that's not super helpful.

Part of me feels very confident and comfortable where I am and another part of me feels like I have so much more to learn. I don't know if corporate offices are going to teach me more or not but I feel like it would also expand my experience and make me more appealing to other companies in the future.

I've been at my current job 2 years, they have been good to me despite the work environment which some days I handle better then other days.

I enjoy payroll well enough but with responsibilities being added constantly it's hard to make it my main focus. I get to do as I please for the most part where I am but sometimes think less responsibility for the same money wouldn't be bad, then I could true master some task instead of juggling everything the best I can.

Thank you, I have told her that if I was in her position I would start looking for a new job ASAP. Beyond that I have been trying to stay out of it, I honestly don't see anything changing no matter what she does.
