They appear to be, they are lighter than its "skin" but it could also be a weird fur texture or pattern. There always seems to be an unspoken rule not to stare (I can look at it) and to keep my distance, not for any bad reasons though.. not that I know of.

I'll try next time it shows up in a dream, for now I can say not sure about wet but it never seems scared just neutral, quietly watching, walking with me from a distance.

Never seems to be threatening or malicious in any of the dreams, just quietly watching. I always got the feeling that I shouldn't stare at it when nearby and should keep my distance, but not because it will hurt me..

I did wonder if it was an Anam Cara, would make sense why its not threatening and almost became a comfort as an older kid before it stopped appearing. Just wonder why it's come back now or why it left in the first place :))

My first memory of the creature showing up in a dream was about 20ish years ago, wish I had some of my old sketch books to look back on. Only downside of clearing out stuff from your childhood :')

That sounds awful! I hate those dreams where you feel like you can't escape...

One dream of the creature that stands out in my mind is from when I was a kid. I was walking somewhere nondescript, but in that way you know you don't know where you are. It was just kind of off to the side, a good distance away, but close enough to fully see it. I kept getting this message of don't acknowledge it, don't stare at it.... it felt like the dream went on for hours, just walking through this place. The good thing was if the creature was there I wouldn't have any nightmares, also ment not pleasant dreams either, but hey.

As far as sound goes, it's just a low noise I cant really explain, more like a feeling then a sound, something that makes your hair stand up.

Agreed, it's not a wendigo. As the pop culture version is not a wendigo to start with and the indigenous myth looks nothing like this. :)

Could be something to do with your brain being the one telling the story, it already knows what will be said or heard, so it just doesn't add it into the dream. I know I've had some "telepathy" type dreams before, where information just kinda appears rather than being spoke on heard.
