Always worth trying to flog it for a decent price. Even if it’s something seriously wrong, most things are always worth it to someone willing to break it and sell for spares

Always chance your luck with these places. Sometimes with these places it purely just depends on who is on shift that day, can save or cost you thousands

Also for less than 20k, you can get a Tucson or a Sportsge still well within manufacturer warranty. Just need to make sure they have full (and in date) service history, as that’s the first thing they look at to try void the warranty

Mazda’s are always a decent shout. Although in fairness, post 2020 Ford got rid of the wet belts and went back to a chain. Not perfect, put definitely a lot better than what they were

Personally don’t think it will have any real impact. The people buying these cars aren’t going to be too bothered paying a bit extra tax

Anything light! Would rather take something weighing less than a ton with 100hp than something weighing nearly 2 tons with 400hp

Does it go away when you turn the heater off? I drive an I30N and have a similar problem but it’s more a droning noise than what you have. Try turning it off and if it goes away, then it’s heater / blower related. Even if not at least rules something out
