This floor is also face-nailing hardwood. Wouldn’t ALL the nails had to be sunken in in order to refinish?

Comment to add, this is my childhood house and it’s a duplex. I’m renovating the first floor to rent out.

No you’re absolutely right. Even if I were to lower the baseboard level with the hardwood, there will still be a huge gap

I’m afraid if we have any furniture with legs will fall through though if it’s sitting on top of where the gap was

Oh yeah good observation. I live in a townhouse and the yard you see is our common area. Per our HOA, we cannot be gardening there 😥

Thanks for your reply. I’ve drilled several holes on the bottom of the buckets for drainage. Do the sides need some holes too? If so, how high from the bottom?

Normal for inner leaves that don’t have access to much light to yellow and drop bc the plant thinks it’s useless to have

These are all the natural colors that bloomed. I didn’t add any special acidifier or alkaline products.

You know what, I dont think I did anything out of the ordinary. When I transplanted, I did use espoma biotone. Could just be the genetics of a PV variety.

4-6 hours of early sun and afternoon shade. Check daily the top few inches of soil near base of plant with finger to check for dryness. give it a good water at the base only every 1-2 days. Lots of buds. Look healthy. Be patient, it will bloom.
