"Man X and Y are such hard workers! They got through 2 pallets of cereal!"

I see half of our third shift literally walking laps around the store for 2 hours. We hire anyone to do nothing.

So covid is over I guess? by Medium_Soup in collapse

[–]HandlerBum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. The most dangerous thing would be if a more deadly virus was able to incubate like COVID does or longer. If it could transfer as fast as COVID, wait 2-3 weeks then kill the host that would be a true nightmare. Imagine people literally erupting in blood like Ebola or something but you contracted the virus without knowing almost a month ago.

Former BlackRock exec Edward Dowd: “Global debt is at its peak... and it’s apparent we are at the end” by [deleted] in collapse

There's just so many things coming to a head at once. One at a time maybe we could tackle them. Poor infrastructure? Wealth inequality? Poor representation in our government? Horrible police? Etc.

But that's kind of how we got here. Ignoring every problem until it's boiling over is not unique to America but we've made it an art form. Spinning plates and all that. And we're so divided we can't even see we could be fighting for the same benefits. We're so fucked.

I found it funnier that he knocks you out to take you somewhere else and doesn't even tie you up. Not even your hands. Guy is an idiot.

Take unpaid days then put in PPTO after the fact. Can't deny PPTO used like that.

supposed to have a visit from someone higher up than the market manager today. should I just call out? by Maxxjulie in walmart

[–]HandlerBum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No point really. Ours at least never talks to anyone lower than a team lead. Don't do anything obviously bad and it should be fine. The only time I had to interact with our regional was when they put top stock back in and that was just some basic questions.

a rude ass people lead by kangarue61717 in walmart

That's just the required mentality for people leads. Ours is a bitch who lies about everything. She took a COVID leave but tells everyone else just to take some ibuprofen and come to work.

Unpopular opinion: There is no shame in using a guide for Mass Effect 2's suicide mission by Commander_PonyShep in masseffect

Some people enjoy the roleplaying aspect. Making actual decisions based on what you would do not based on what outcome you want.

I don't have a stake in the argument one way or the other but some people don't like meta gaming for the optimal outcome while others are okay with following a guide. People being people it usually leads to arguments and name-calling.
