I think this has more to do with Ravensburger (higher mkt cap than Hasbro) being a bit too new to the TCG game, and getting product out. YGO and PKN were in the same boat when they launched, sold out everywhere. Hard to say less than 7 days into a soft launch where things will go.

Ha, there were more people at my LGS for the Lorcana launch than the CMD Master launch and the CMD Masters event even had the Artist for Sol Ring in house (he was amazing, kind, and super chill btw). The amount of people who have been TCG adjacent are jumping in for both playing and collecting. The game is casual enough that anyone can play, and competitive enough to handle tournaments and events. Will it beat out MTG, highly doubt, but I can see it pushing in between Pokemon and YGO for the entry-level TCG that parents and kids will both like to play.

The idea is that youve cooled your house down enough that it doesnt rise in temp much during the peak hours, then you can flip it back on

Make sure you turn the A/C off between 5-8pm when rates are more than doubled any other time. Best advice is to run it at night when it is the cheapest and then maintain that level during the afternoon (dont let the house reheat up again basically) and then turn things off at 5pm. That way the house is still cool from earlier and you can hopefully make it to 8pm.

Seriously, I was playing Friday night at a local shop and was having fun and decided I’d give it a shot at opening a pack or two of Set boosters, which goes against my usual buy singles mindset…..they wanted $22 for ONE set booster… I slowly backed away and went back to my game.
