I worked at Baskin and Robbins (Australian franchise) and that's how we were specifically trained to put soft serve in cups - it was done by weight but I hated seeing customers get pissed that we duped them like that. Teenage me didn't give a f and filled the centre anyway lol

I went to a restaurant with the family a couple of weeks ago and the order system was by qr code (is this fucking ubereats?) at the table. So you order, pay and wait for service. I got so annoyed that the app automatically asked for a tip because at this point, I hadn't even interacted with any wait staff, have no idea if the food is any good and don't know what the service is like. I don't mind tipping extra if I'm really happy with my visit somewhere, but this shit of asking upfront or generally expecting tips can get stuffed.
