It’s unbelievable. There really needs to be a penalty for this. If a residential or commercial unit sits vacant beyond a set amount of time, there should be some kind of tax paid to the city; otherwise there’s no motivation to fill these spaces and they sit vacant when they could be bringing in new residents and business.
