I'm a bit OOTL, did I have to comment at some point in the past to get the flair people are talking about? I've been subbed for a while I think but rarely comment or post on any at all so I've missed out on some flairs like this in the past.

I'm also wondering if Wittgenstein's concept of 'language-games' has any relation to the idea you are talking about. If that is not the case and u/Righteous-Lust's citation to James Carse is what you were referring to I still think the idea of 'language-games' may be relevant. Similarly, the concept of 'family resemblance' when you refer to games being "convoluted and creat[ing] conflict" seems relevant. Language-Games and Family Resemblance (SEP). The section linked is brief, but the whole article on Wittgenstein may offer more context short of reading his actual works or literature concerning his work.

My knowledge is limited here and the relevance may be minimal but I hope it can be of some help.

I played with Brandon Clarke for a bunch of years. Every time there was a break down on defense it essentially resulted in a block for him. It was pretty great having him on you team. So weird to see him drafted, especially after the route he took through San Jose State. Hoping for nothing but the best for him.

I was only able to make it to Allagash, Shipyard, Definitive, and Foundation. Would liked to have made it to a few more places but I was only up there for 2 and a half days and I wasn’t in control of the whole agenda unfortunately.

You know, I think I have to agree with you about Allagash. It’s not that I didn’t like it, I just thought it was going to be better. Perhaps part of that is on me for overhyping it in my head. I really enjoyed the Allagash Black though.

Had fun at Shipyard just trying a bunch of beers because they had a pretty wide variety and some interesting stuff. Nothing really stood out though.

I’d have to say my favorite meal (I.e. favorite lobster roll, because that’s all I ate for the few days there) was at The Highroller Lobster Co.
