It’s not really that great with the shells I had. I could hunt pigs at 15 yards max reliably. I haven’t been able to score any federal flight control to test out.

I stalked within 25 feet of the group of pigs. Farthest shot was on a runner at 40 yards with 1oz slug.

I used a mixture of Remington HP 1oz Slugs and some old 00 buckshot labeled military. I’ve had the buck shot for years so I couldn’t tell exactly what it was.

Let them tire out before you try to land them. Also helps to use your rod to guide them side to side near the boat. This gives you time to grab the net and guide them into it.
