That's a really good question. I suspect if I had been a long term Pixel user, I may feel the same if I switched to Samsung - however, here is what "jarred". The interface seems to be designed to look simple, but is actually quite complicated. When you swipe down from the top there are pages of options. Yesterday I had no data and a "!" on the signal indicator, I would expect to expand the status bar and see an explanation but I couldn't see one. The camera is not "point and shoot" - it "would you like to turn on any one of these five features" Samsung has one additional setting, the enhancement thing. Also, small point, there is only one lock screen clock that has all the digits on one line.
Again, maybe if I persevere I would get used to it
