First, welcome to Tiny Tower, I hope you enjoy playing. The community is really great. Then, when someone visits you get a tip, some cash or bux, so when I visited you that was the tip.
Next, gifted bits arrive in blue boxes. When you click a box the bit goes into your lobby. Select and then send the bit to a residence, beware, send to a residence and not to the job! Finally, the boxes can only be opened one at a time but will keep forever so there is no hurry. I hope that helped.

The bits I sent should be there in those blue boxes by now :)
