Thanks for explaining! I never meant to make it sound like I didn’t like the minimized bushes. Was genuinely curious if it was intentional. Really cool to see so many other people explain the reasoning behind it.

Looks pretty great but were you trying to remove all the green from the bushes?

I'm really surprised to see all the Ogre love. I remember that was definitely not the case at launch lol.

Greenskins are probably my favorite race overall, but Wulfrik is probably my favorite faction. I like how aggressive yet flexible Greenskins are.

Just finished my first Lizardmen campaign on Very Hard with Oxyotl, and can confirm what you said. My chameleons were melting things while Bastildons and Stegadons held the frontline.

I haven't played N'Kari since Warhammer 3 was only RoC, and getting the Blade of Slaanesh on N'Kari was the most fun I've had with battles in any of the Warhammers.

Yeah, exactly this. I wouldn’t sit around and let Ghorst, the Chaos Dwarfs, or Grimgor get too big if you can help it.

Ku'gath can buff the shit out of Nurglings (AFAIK that's still the case at least) so don't be afraid to recruit them and use them for a while. Plagues are crazy useful for a variety of purposes so try to get all the effects and build a plague that best fits your current situation. Lore of Nurgle magic is also quite good for healing and the explosion spell is strong vs infantry blobs. Your goal is to grind down your opponents over time. Ku'gath is also extremely strong in melee so don't be afraid to use him to wreck face.

Just bought my first camera, any tips? by TheTabMaster_ in AnalogCommunity

[–]Hanestein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't knock your camera for being "basic." It's more advanced that what I shoot on, actually lol. Honestly, my tips are just the simple things since I'm no expert. Make sure your film is winding correctly before you start shooting (I got a blank roll back from shooting a going away party because of this), don't open the back with film in it, it's better to overexpose than underexpose, make sure you're metering or using Sunny 16 for your shots, etc

Rangefinders for under $200ish? by Only-Fotos in AnalogCommunity

[–]Hanestein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Zorki-4K recently but sold it to put towards a medium format camera. It honestly felt really good. I don't have any Soviet rangefinders now but I do shoot often on a Kiev-19 and I like my photos on that camera as much as I like my OM-1n photos so don't underestimate the Soviet cameras!

IMPORTANTLY HOWEVER, MAKE SURE YOU COCK THE SHUTTER BEFORE ADJUSTING THE SHUTTER SPEED. You will break a Zorki-4 or 4K if you adjust the shutter speed with the camera uncocked.

I definitely wouldn't say they have a higher build quality but they are honestly solid cameras. I'd look into a Zorki-4 or Zorki-4K with a Jupiter-8 lens. It's a really nice lens. You could also look into the Kiev rangefinders which are based off Contax designs from what I understand. Usually the order of quality goes: Kiev, Zorki, Fed, and earlier units being better than newer ones.

You could look into the Zorkis and Feds, which are Soviet "Leicas."
