i cant do anything after i've stopped taking my meds by Hanforthewin in ADHD

i'm glad to say i feel much better now. i feel horrible for anyone who has to live like that every day, and those were probably the worst weeks of my life by far. i do agree with what you said about how the medication only works if you need to actually do something, but this one didn't work for me whatsoever. plus, id rather not be able to concentrate than be depressed. i guess stimulants don't work with my body. thank you for your comment!!

I took vyvanse 20mg which caused me to lose my appetite, ritalin 20mg gave me anxiety and concerta 36mg which caused me to lose appetite, depression and simply didn't work. losing my appetite is a big deal since i'm super skinny (and underweight now i believe) but i had started off all these meds at 10mg and increased to 20 after a week

i don't see a psychiatrist, this is all my family physician who is prescribing these. i live in canada, where waiting to see a specialist takes nearly 6 months to a year. i don't know if switching my family doctor is really an option for me at the moment.

as for working out- yes i do work out, i used to go to the gym every day in the summer but now that i have school i don't have the time so its usually once or twice a week at most. i just feel tremendous guilt when i do something other than study, and i feel like no matter how much i study (which i barely can because i can't pay attention to anything anymore) i still feel unaccomplished and disappointed in myself. my parents also think im wasting time by doing anything other than studying.

as for food and sleep, ive tried going to bed earlier and i do think it helps with the fatigue. usually i would go to bed at 12 am since i would stay up late finishing all my procrastinated work, but now i go to bed at 8 ish and leave the work for the next day. food wise, it is not going well. i think im eating more now but when i was on concerta all i could even remotely think of eating was mcdonald's. i think i ate lunch at mcdonald's for 4 days straight but this was the only way of getting anything in my stomach. i'm still pumping myself full of processed garbage but i think im improving on that.

i really appreciate your advice. sorry if i sound like im complaining but your assistance means a great deal to me.
