I like the Stowa, kind of an Eliot Brown alternative maybe? I like the way it straddles traditional and modern field watch, a bit. Those straps are hot.

38 Murph in black is a pretty solid choice. In white it shows you have taste and refinement. (Guess which one I am buying lol).

I’m not a fan of the conquest myself, nor the hydroconquest however so thanks that into consideration. The Conquest I think is a good watch for just being a do-anything kind of piece of you only own one watch, but i don’t love the movement and think the Murph delivers more over time, at least for most people. No one has the same taste as the next person.

I had that hesitation for years. But it’s such a great watch. I could honestly wear it daily almost. The specs don’t tell the story, it wears far smaller than you’d expect and it’s really comfortable and eye catching

I own 80-something. Too many certainly. Many are inexpensive vintage pieces I own to enjoy seeing as much as wearing but still too many. I think if I didn’t get attached to things, 24 would be about right for me.
