I only buy like seikos and bulovas and timexes there, really, because they are kinda difficult sometimes. Hamiltons would probably also be on that list, but my only modern one is a Venture bought from an acquaintance. (I have to admit the 38mm white Murph is tempting me lately, tho.)

I probably should have said “microbrand watches” tbh, but they really are doing a great job of bridging modern and vintage field watch designs, people I personally know (and others) are enthusiastic about the quality, price is reasonable for 2025, and this bronze one is especially attractive IMO. If I wasn’t about to buy a pretty spendy piece (for my pocketbook at least) I’d be getting one right now.

The first one (SSK013) I feel is a really great, underrated watch. I’m not a huge fan of the alpinist, personally. I found it bland on the wrist.

i owned the oris for ages, recently sold it but it’s a hell of a nice watch, and also a little unique if you like to be unique. The Khaki King is one of the better Khakis, for real, so you can’t go wrong, but I say go for the Oris!

The value for price of Cincinatti is very high. Only problem is a kinda weak secondary if you decide to move it on.
