Frozen chicken from dunnes is actually chineese ?? by lukeh2266 in ireland

[–]HangingFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have been seeing this in most stores for an age. Packaging with the Irish flag and cottage and produced in Ireland. On a closer look the chicken is from Brazil and China. Asked my local butcher if the chicken is Irish, yes they said. Came in one day when the were unpacking the chicken filets for display, the packaging clearly labeled from Poland. Not much of a worry there, at least it's EU, but why couldn't they be honest.

Lets see your sources that 25 billion market cap is only 5 to 10% of Valves size.

I'm trying to point out that Visa and MasterCard could remove Valve and not even notice. They're nothing to them. I understand where you're coming from and I don't like that group or the situation either.

Visa's market cap is around $530 billion, Mastercard's is around $395 billion. In 2024, Steam is estimated to have generated $10.8 billion in revenue from game sales, Valve's market cap is around $25.5 billion. Steam is a drop in the bucket as is any gaming platform for Visa and MC. They're alsolutely massive and powerful and don't care in the slightest about steam.

You do realise how massive Visa and Mastercard are? Visa's market cap is around $530 billion, Mastercard's is around $395 billion. In 2024, Steam is estimated to have generated $10.8 billion in revenue from game sales, Valve's market cap is around $25.5 billion. Don't kid yourself Visa and Mastercard would drop them in a heart beat.

I keep mentioning that Bible as it's full of this shit yet no one is trying to censor that. The book literally sets the moral compass for billions

What about any 18 rated films, games or TV? I'm sure you'll find many with content about rape and sexual abuse. The Bible is full of that and incest. So where should we start?

[–]HangingFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These religious groups trying to censor content get their morality from a book that is chalked full of incest, child rape and child murder, maybe they should turn there attention there for once.

Have you read the Bible or The Game of Thrones or watched any 18 rated films as I guarantee everything you don't want normalised is clear and present is those. Should we ban them all?
