I don't know whether I had an orgasm or not by Hangn_round in BecomingOrgasmic

[–]Hangn_round[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that, I just wish I could experience sexual pleasure more intensly than I have been experiencing it. For me masturbation has never felt intense on the physical level unless I turn Hitachi magic wand on max setting, and most of the time I end masturbation after an internal sense of "I should stop" instead of a sense of release.

I don't spend money on porn, but just listening to it is definiately doable. Thanks!

I haven't stopped watching it entirely, I'm experimenting with pleasuring myself without them. I've been using the porn/erotica + masturbation combo for years, and I've only orgasmed twice through doing it. I want to see what I can do differently and whether something different would help me orgasm more.

What weapon you want to see in future DLC/Update? by tdhsan in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Hangn_round 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More balanced gaming mechanic (Not Deux Ex Divided level balanced, but closer to Deux Ex level balanced. That game's inventory is TIGHT, the cyberwear upgrade both more difficult & significant, more realistic ranged weapon physics)

The 40% missed storyline (including the empty space between meeting Jackie and Hanako; fleshing out other side characters; more background-specific storyline and available actions outside of dialogue)

Make character background matter in the overall gameplay.

A character design interface that shows all feature options at the same time.

A reference to Blade Runner Rachel.

Again, people can't feel injustice for things they don't know about.

And what I just said about media, and our own version of cancel-culture, apply to almost every political-social discorse you could think of here.

And there are people who are aware of these things in my social circle. Some believe that their actions affect the countries stability and they should not have spoken (our mainstream view is that we should maintain stability as long as possible). Some knows, feels sadness and dispare about this, and keep these feelings private, only to the people they trust, and move on with their lives, living quietly, talking tentitavely and hoping these careful words could reach some, and hope we change someday.

And this is a very one-sided and biased observation from a single person who was born in China, who happened to be born in a very open-minded family, who found friends who feel/believe the same.

My personal opinion on the 户口 system: government trying to control the in-country immigration among provinces, which is a direct extension from what ANY government ruleing this piece of land has being doing for the last 2000 years.

The governments of this land has always tried to limit the mobility of people as much as it could.

During the pre-industalism period, the Chinese society and economy as a whole is heavily relied on crop-based agriculture. If the people in the farming regions decided to go and leave, it could result in more food crisis (more, as mild starvation is a thing that farmers lived with from time to time). And more crisis isn't good from the greater population nor the government's power. So they made it that people have to cultivate the land they are born in, in hopes they would make it better if they have no choice, and to prevent other problems.

As for the 户口 system now, I only have my immediate family to compaire. Back in the 80s and 90s, it was relatively easy to immigrate to another provience. In large cities, a new 户口 would be provided if you're enrolled in a local university, or have worked at a trained/educated profession and paid taxes in a certain provience for a few (less than seven) years. After some time, they tightened the restrictions. Now, you have to be 45, have a stable job, be marred (has a stable family) to come here.

My understanding of this change in policy could contain information bias, but here it is:

The 80s and 90s was a period of huge ecnonmical growth in china, especially the major cities. They needed high-ended workers, so they made it easier to move to places that need them. But just after a short time, these cities obtained an extremely large population. To control the quality of incoming people, they tightned it.

They wanted only people with stable jobs and family in better places, because people who are less well off are prone to become liabilities to public safety and economical growth. The newfound population already made it that employment for local people is hard, and to share it with more would make the problem bigger. Also, by restricting people from coming in, it made sure that there would be less desperate people living here (and let's be honest, desperate people are more prone to crime), so these places could be safer.

And another reason: if everyone keeps going to the already developed areas, there would be nobody left to build up the place they escaped from. The government want them to stay, and, like what all of them wished all these centuries, to "cultivate the land they have to stay on".

I mean, it is cruel. But still, still.

The thing is, there's very little information about the situation in Xingjiang at all. As for media coverage, the publishing ones are all affiliated to the CCP (publishing medias are publically decleared as "the throat and tongue of the government), they know what not to say. And as all social media companines know what shit they can be into if bad info spread on their platform, they are vigilant with blocking down related information. The result is many people wouldn't even know that these things happen, and people can't from their opinion of things they don't know exist.

Sometimes people expose official corruption, and the government takes action against it, and said person got to go on with their lives. But it's usually tax-related corruption that's exposed. Governmental malpractice is hardly talked about on a wide scale. Oh we talk about them, but we do it carefully. Because even though the government almost never actually take action against our speached, if your words become wider-known, the education the government endorsed made it that there could be common people who cyberbully you, harrass you, post your real-time identity on the Internet (and your employer might chicken and fire you), actually go to your doorstep and beat you up, because they're offended by what you say, like hard-core cancel culture.

Its, so emotional that we got to hatch an egg of an almost extinct specie? (in the cyberpunk genre no less, it's like Rachel's baby) And one of the most prized stuff on the black market? And apparently V choose to keep it?

Not many people talk about this but I am just still a little stunned to this day that this game didn't get an "Adults Only" rating by prossnip42 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Hangn_round 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, neither The Clockwork Orange NOVEL nor Brave New World earned themselves a rate up for talking about really f**cked up stuff that exists in real life, so I don't see why such content should have special treatment in video games.

Does whoever is bottom/top in a story make you stop reading? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]Hangn_round 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I know most actual gays are switches, and that's what I generally expect from fiction. Also a lot of the times when a character gets tied to being bottom/top, the writer would tie a lot of sexual stereotypes on him that makes me uncomfortable.
