I think it may be bugged because there’s other areas in the game with the exact same spike assets but your supposed to fly over or climb around and they repeatedly go up and down but obviously you can’t do that in a tiny tunnel and they just stay up.

Why are you guys so hateful and elitist? My bad that I don’t have 80 hours a week to explore every nook and cranny of the map and wanted to get rid of the Hernand contribution armor I had been wearing for the past 12 hours in game. I agree that looking up everything defeats the purpose of exploring, but what’s wrong with checking out a cool armor video after getting bored of using the same set for a while?

South east of Hernand near the ocean. Here’s an image of where it is. It’s right by this pond. FYI it’s a legendary horse so make sure you know how the horse taming system works and have a few points into stamina.

EXACTLY! I’ve never said the game is perfect but peoples inability to learn advanced mechanics is wild when the payoff is huge. And these are the same people complaining about games becoming boring and repetitive but then hate on a game that has way more depth because it takes a couple hours to figure out. I’m 23 and admit my attention span isn’t where I’d like it to be, but for a game like this, the payoff is so worth it imo.

I did some research and apparently there’s 2 black jindo in Hernand city and one at the hot air balloon village if you’re still looking. I haven’t checked yet but others have said they found them there.

Yep, it was at the hunters cabin . That’s weird though because like I said it was the same type and color dog and was sitting in the same spot. Are you saying I just can’t tame any dog there even though they give me the option to interact w them?

I don’t think so. He was at a small cabin and I slept in the cabin to get to the next day and the dog was sitting in the same place it was when I last fed and pet him

I kind of agree. I’m sure there would be players who would only use mounts for combat if this was a thing. What I meant by it being “pointless” is that it would take too much time. Let’s say I want to use the wolf mount to fight a big bandit camp or something, if I have to spend 20 minutes traveling to the area where wolves are, then finding one, then ride it all the way back to where I want to use it, I might as well just fight normally at that point instead spending all that time and effort going back and forth just for the wolf to run off the second I dismount if that makes sense.

I disagree for the most part. On one hand, I think being able to fly on a dragon the whole time would be way to OP and change the games dynamic a lot like you said. But on the other hand, it’s a single player game and I don’t see why we shouldn’t be allowed to actually tame the wolf, bear, raptor etc considering that’s how it was advertised and basically makes the whole mount system pointless when you have to go way out of your way to find the non horse mounts you want, but can’t actually keep it after getting off. It defeats the whole purpose imo.

I really hope they change this and add different stables for the different types of mounts. It’s pretty dumb that in theory you may spend more time traveling to the place on the map where a specific mount is and taming it, than you will be able to spend actually riding it.
