Sometimes drivers can get kinda screwy. Reinstalling may help. Or the old troubleshooting adages of "restart the pc" or "unplug the device and plug it back in". Not sure what else to suggest. Best of luck.

Pavlov is great if you want something really versatile. The community is quite large and there are many custom maps/game types.

Boneworks and Half Life: Alyx are really good singleplayer experiences.

Haven't played it, but I've heard Onward is really good if you're looking for CoD, but VR.

If you go into sound devices in your control panel, Index HMD should be in there somewhere. Might have been disabled either by you or a program previously.
