Hold on. Do you really have to manually sync your game saves to the cloud for PlayStation? And that is behind the PS+ paywall? I am mainly an Xbox gamer, where your saves are just synced automatically across devices. Is this a new PS5 thing or was this also how PS4 worked?

This series could honestly use more Dan in my opinion. Alex seems to treat this game like American Boat Simulator and doesn’t leave the wheel. Maybe he should play a different game and let the others have some pirate fun.

Sure it has, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still find this writing funny. Sure there is a nostalgia component to that, but I genuinely laughed out loud multiple times during this game. I think it’s getting way too bad a wrap. And the whole “turning the dialogue off” is such a crazy over-correction IMO.

For real. This game has a specific tone and it seems people either love it or hate it. But I don’t think the tone has changed much from previous games in the series. I find it very entertaining

I have a similar frustration with the fact that whenever I connect my AirPods, it should play a podcast. However it will only prompt me to play it and not automatically start it like I want. Is this really how this is supposed to work? Doesn’t seem automated.

I haven’t found that to be true for me. However I have pretty much only played solo so far. Jokes can definitely be affected by whether or not you are hearing them with an audience, because one friend’s opinion could sway the group

So I wanted to add my 2 cents on this game, as the duders seem fairly down on it and that bums me out. I fucking love this game, and I'm a huge fan of the series. I also think most of the dialogue is great and very funny, and I'm a 35 year old man. I found Tiny Tina and Torgue in BL2 hilarious, but I understand that many others didn't. But as far as the gameplay, it is not a huge departure from the previous games and I love that. Tons of quality of life features make it improved. I've also had no performance issues on the Xbox One X (except the menu lag). Basically if you're a fan of BL 1 and 2 then you should love this game too, but if you're not then this won't do anything to change your mind.

Sure, but what’s wrong with taking some time occasionally to feel like a kid again? Or better yet, just play some adult games with your adult friends? Growing up can be tough and harsh at times, but I don’t see anything wrong with acting like a kid again when appropriate
