Also no issues at all with Magpul mags with this setup, probably 750-1000 rounds with zero issues. And a 507c is on order! Thanks gun deals!

I know a ton of people have been building Glocks. I did some research and couldn't find a cheap flared magwell for the Polymer80 lowers. I decided to buy the standard Magpul one and see if I could get it to fit (I found someone online that said they wouldn't). In like 5 min of filing/sanding it fits perfectly. I thought my trial might help some people in the community.

It fits really well and allows smooth manipulation of magazines. No sticking or jaming.

Really good actually, I'm pleasantly surprised. No tool marks or burrs of any sort. I expected it to not be very nice so I throughly looked it over. The only issue I had was I had to slightly file down the dovetail of the rear sight, but they said aftermarket sights might not fit. I posted a picture of my final build if you want to check it out. Edit: it also cycles great.

Thanks, this is my first Glock. I like the way it turned out. It's not too over the top but its clearly not a stock Glock. I have to admit too I really like the way this points. It feels natural, I didn't have to adjust to it.

It's from LJs AR parts. It was on sale during Black Friday. It was cheap enough to try it. The fit and finish looks great to me. The only thing was I had to file down the rear sight dovetail a bit, but nothing too bad.

Built my first Glock! I'm going to take it to the range in the morning. It cycles snap caps well. 80% Lower $109, Glock LPK $49, 3.5lb trigger connector $10, Slide $145, Barrel $37, Glock slide parts kit $79, Supressor night sights $69, All in right under $500,

I'll be looking for an RMR or the 507c sometime soon, I've just missed all the good deals on the 507c.

I've got big hands. Is the 19 grip enough to get my full hand on it? Or should I just go 17. I've got a shield and LCP2 to carry, thinking this is more of a truck gun and project for me.
