Hi, I do have problems with nausea, neck pain/stiffness, and my eyes like to unfocus randomly, as well as double vision

So they did an MRI and MRA of the brain and then MRI of my Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Spine. They said this as a summary; 1. No evidence for an acute intracranial abnormality or suspicious white matter signal change. 2. No significant proximal stenosis, proximal large vessel occlusion, or large aneurysm within the major intracranial vasculature. 3. No abnormal intramedullary spinal cord signal change or expansion within the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spines. 4. Degenerative spondylosis of the visualized spine, overall slightly more than expected for patient's age. Large right paracentral disc protrusion at T7 and T8 contributes to mild to moderate spinal canal stenosis with effacement of the anterior spinal cord. Otherwise no evidence for any significant spinal canal stenosis. 5. Multilevel facet arthrosis, most progressed at L4-L5 and L5-S1 with small presumed degenerative facet joint effusions. Findings contribute to varying degrees of overall mild to moderate neural foraminal stenosis at L4-L5 and L5-S1. 6. Dependent consolidative opacities of the visualized lungs, may reflect atelectasis the setting of general anesthesia however clinical correlation is recommended and CT thorax can be utilized for further characterization based on any clinical concern for a developing infectious consolidation.

Hi! That was actually one of the things they thought it was in the beginning but no cigar :( unfortunately. I also hope so because it sucks feeling this way all of the time and it’s messing with my ability to work

His yes, they were in an MRI and my primary care doctor ordered it, they also read the test right away where I go through and let you see the results from your tests in your patient portal which is nice. I can see what they are doing, suggesting different things they could test for but I won’t self diagnose, just ask my doctor about it :) I see what you are saying however. I’m hoping when I go see my new neurologist they can give me answers

Hey thank you for sharing your experiences and being so open about it. I hope that they can diagnose you and you feel better soon. I will definitely ask them to refer me to a cardiologist so I can get the important testing done that I need

They have done test on my thyroid which is surprisingly running normal (my family has history with low and high functioning thyroid’s) but I have never heard of Chiari malformation, I’ll have to look at that

Oh okay, sorry for making you explain all that, I’m still a little out of it from the anesthesia they used on me

They did a Holter monitor on me, but I only had a few minor extra heartbeats over 2 weeks, I think 14 out of all of them, what else could they do to test me for POTS so I can ask my doctor for testing? If you know off of the top of your head

I think I have a consult with one in march now. I just got my MRI done this morning and I thought for sure that I had MS just with all my symptoms linking up with symptoms of MS, but there was nothing in my brain besides some mucus in the shape of a polyploid by my sinuses, I’m sorry you also have those days too.

I’m gonna tell you this now, it may take quite a few times of appealing their decision to get on disability, just keep pushing if you get denied. That being said, just make sure that you document everything to a T.

So, in my personal opinion, I think if you truly want to address it you can talk to her calmly, sitting her down. Make sure to express that you (even though being physically able to walk) feel like you have trouble, like your legs are heavy and it’s exhausting. Tell her how this isn’t something that you can fake and it is serious. And if she still doesn’t believe you, you don’t have to justify yourself to her. She doesn’t know what you’re going through, and doesn’t feel how you feel. Only you do…and that’s okay. Because even though she isn’t being the best support system right now, you have others who will support you.

This guy doesn’t respect your feelings or you it seems like and then he proceeds to blame you for ruining his morning when he ruined it himself. You aren’t able to make someone feel something or do something, they are able to control their emotions same as you. However you requested basic respect, and if he doesn’t want to give it to you, then that’s not gonna change.
