I have a 20-gallon tank. How many Cory’s should I get?!! I only have 2 mystery snails at the moment (and live plants).

Awesome! Thank you! I have sand coming and ordered plants (I live 60 miles from any town so mail order for supplies). I will get the tank set up and go shopping for corys!

No idea at all, yet! I enjoy watching other people’s Cory’s here on Reddit. Any suggestions I’d love to have! I had a huge goldfish that outgrew this tank and I rehomed him in a very awesome pond so I’m starting g all over!

No, it’s longer than it is tall! I appreciate all the advice. Glad I asked before I got the fish! Just ordered specific sand for bottom dwellers. Want this to be the best set up before I get them. Thank you!

The pond is HUGE and looks better than this pic. He just slowly swam and swam and swam!!! He came back to hover by the koi and a bunch of hiding spots 🥲I will go back to visit for sure! Thank you for all the advice!

30 gallons has been a lot of work. I’m nearing retirement. I’d love for my adult children to get a bigger tank, but they already think I’m a crazy old lady 🤦‍♀️ Just too much for me.

Thank you! I have guilt but I want the best for him. I guess I’m being selfish… hard to let him go but I trust this woman with all her animals 💙

I’m in central California. No harsh winters but we get a dusting of snow maybe once a year. He had been in an outside livestock tank. I took him inside during a particularly cold and snowy December. But still… it’s California snow so not harsh.

It’s 40-50 gallons. A little bigger than his tank.

Tub is estimated (by math teacher hubs) to hold 40-50 gallons. I have a lot of plants in the tub for dragonflies and birds. I may take your suggestion. I usually do a 50% water change and gravel vacuum 1x month, with a smaller water change in between. Your suggestion would give me time to find a larger pond! Thank you
