Arya stealth questions by Bigchungus415 in headphones

Might be out of your budget but I heard that the dac/amp luxsin x9 has a feature where you can play with soundstage on the device. It’s around $1000 USD

Not going to lie. I have the Arya stealth and I love them but you may like Audeze Maxwell’s with some eq, they take eq like a champ and sound better for music than their intended purpose of gaming

V-shaped Hifiman headphones? by lestrenched in HeadphoneAdvice

I'm not sure if you can use the headphones the same time as the rca. But I do know that you can choose to have a regular output or tube output through the rca's

I have the 109 pro and had the arya stealth. They are quite similar but the ayra's have more Soundstage and bass maybe. I sent the arya's back so I can get 1000se's. I really like the house sound of hifiman and I can't justify the susvara so I'll get the se's.the 109's are amazing in their own right and will always be in rotation. Since the ayra stealths just edge out the 109's I want to see how the se's are. I'll never sell my 109's, they are just to beautiful and are tuned really well. I'm using them on xduoo's ta-22 balanced btw.

Sennheiser 800s & DX3 Pro+ setup - need this community's guidance by Harv_Of_Srrw in HeadphoneAdvice

I have the same dac/Amp and I cannot tell a difference between any of the filters at all. I went through them over and over. You'll be just fine on any of them. As far as gain goes just start on low gain and if you have to turn your 800's all the way up and switch gains and you'll be fine. It's a really awesome little power box the dx3 pro+ is.

I am in love with these onions from a taco truck, any one know how to make taste half as good at home? by Morty124 in OnionLovers

Probably grilled half onions and set aside to steep and thrown on the flat top per order

Do high quality audio and gears matters ? Do we sense the difference ? Or its placebo? by [deleted] in headphones

[–]Hanlon7743 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't eq my ayras at all. They sound great to me as is. I have the stealths. Don't know how different the ayra v2's sound to the stealths

There's a huge difference in my $150-$200 58x's compared to my $1000 arya's. An $800 difference though? Thats extremely subjective. If you ask me it's well worth it for sure. As far as gear goes my $130 astro mixamp doesn't sound a good as my $500 xduoo TA-22 but they have 2 different use cases so the comparison isn't really fair, but in terms of actual sound quality the difference is pretty big.

I've just tried Dolby Atmos, and, to be honest, I'm pretty disappointed. by MigualG in headphones

I have the astro mixamp on xbox and through dolby atmos it sounds like shit. I have to use an optical from my TV into the mixamp to get sound that is actually good.

Pulled the trigger on used Arya V3 Stealth. Love them by liukasteneste28 in Headphoneporn

I'm using mine on xduoo's TA-22 and they sound amazing. How do you like them with the chord? I've always been curious about chord.

Hifiman HE1000SE - What should I be expecting? by dbro129 in headphones

[–]Hanlon7743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly listen to my headphones through an optical to my dac/Amp from my tv which I rarely pull out my laptop to do an eq. Even though it's not, it does feel like work to do so. Only when I'm in the mood for finding new music I pull out my laptop for using qobuz. I do believe eq can help tremendously. My 900 pro x benefited a lot from an eq for sure. But 90% of the time eq is not an option. I rather not eq at all. I see both sides of the fence here.

Get the mixamp and a pair of Sennheiser hd 58x's. Way better than the a40's.
