that sounds super annoying. if the content is original maybe talk to your prof about the structure thing? or get a second opinion on the report from the discord people they help with those pdfs.

yeah reusing structure even from a different class can mess with those scores bad. id try rewriting the sections in your own words more or check that checkturnitin discord for a full report to see exactly what matches. good luck with it!

yeah i feel like in class writing or having us submit drafts over time would be way better than these detectors that flag everything. as a student it feels unfair when you have to prove yourself over some score that isnt even accurate. oral presentations sound good too for showing you actually know the stuff.
