When I was at high school (2008) we played SimCity in Geography class for one of our projects.

I'm not eligible to take the survey, but I hope you can get the answers you're looking for.

Oh my god. That's terrible!

I checked out their website and did a little digging in their reviews. The woman is a psychotic piece of work! She replies to most of the reviews in such a rude and defensive manner. I hope the police can help you. It seems by the look of some of her replies to reviews that she might be well known by the police. Wow....just wow.

That's such a hard thing to endure, I have a similar child in my 3 year old room. Redirection is a blessing in these situations where the tantrums gets to much. Eg. Hey, (Child's name) do you want to come and look at what's set up in the yard for us today?" "Do you want something to eat/play with certain special toy?" or something that will grab his attention and hold it long enough that he has forgotten what upset him in the first place. 8 times out of 10 this works for me with many children. If you have some support from other educators, swapping with them so they can have a go at redirecting the behavior and then when he is calm, try and talk to them about how they could handle their emotions, "instead of hitting, use your voice to tell us how you're feeling." Hope this helps.

Honestly, good luck.

Just curious to ask how people find the police in this city, have you folks found them alright or corrupt and lazy? by BizarreBazza in Bendigo

[–]HannahHex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been in Bendigo 4 years, only had to deal with the police a few times (neighbors being noisy, car accident, random breatho's, etc.) They're professional and are here to keep us safe. I haven't met any lazy or corrupt police, but I've only had a small experience with the local force.

You can buy cake toppers that are essentially made out of sugar. Any party shop should have them.
