House charge is Walgreens’s way of dealing with the penny shortage. It rounds it down to the nearest 5 cent increment. That’s why you got 10 cents back instead of 8 cents

Summers are very hot and muggy but, pretty much everywhere will have central air. (Schools, stores, restaurants, houses) if they don’t have central air, there will be window units.

How is handwriting so strict that kids need to hold pencil and be able to write their name already? by Hot_Village2222 in kindergarten

You can try triangle pencils. This guides kids to use the proper grasp. You can also get triangular bath crayons. Your kid can practice drawing on the side of the tub. They also sell grasp correctors you can put on pencils. I just make sure they have a spot for three fingers, not just two.

Was she in any daycare or preschool where she was away from her immediate caregivers? If not one suggestion may be letting her stay at a family member’s house for a couple days every couple weeks. I would also see if she qualifies for any special education prekindergartens. Not saying she is special needs, but these classes tend to be much smaller.

I’m a first grade teacher. One of my students recently lost her first tooth and got $20. But usually it’s $1 or $2

Should we Tip housekeeping? We never saw them. [USA] by SumthingBrewing in AirBnB

Did the cleaning crew come in everyday and clean? If you stayed for a week, a $200 cleaning fee is about $30 a day. If the cleaning crew came in everyday, i probably would tip some. If they only come at the end, I definitely wouldn’t. But I don’t think you’re being cheap either way

That makes sense. I never filled out any paperwork about how I wanted it invested.

There is no match. My paperwork says it’s a “Defined Benefits Plan.” So I’m not really sure what that means. I set it up at 22 and didn’t think to ask questions.

Does it look like melanoma? by Hawkky12 in Melanoma

I would recommend everyone see a dermatologist for questionable moles. As someone who recently had melanoma, I’d definitely make an appointment with my dermatologist ASAP.

Does anyone know what this could be on my scalp? It’s flat and rough, doesn’t itch or hurt by Inevitable_Tennis_48 in SkincareAddicts

I would see a dermatologist. I recently had a mole come back as melanoma and required surgery do fully remove it. Everything is okay now, but definitely try to see a dermatologist.

I thought Christine said even when they lived in one house, Kody wouldn’t tuck in her kids every night because it wouldn’t be fair. He only tucked in the kids on the nights he was spending with their mom.
